we recently got our first order of a 1/2 cow from a butcher. i am learning lots of cooking techniques with the pieces we never bought before at the market. today i got out a piece marked 'leg bone.' i'm uming the best thing to do with it is boil it with seasonings to make a broth? then add some stew meat and veggies... is that correct, and any specifics or other suggestions are welcome!
