Where do I get a "discrete" tattoo?

most have the issue that if their parents see their tattoo, they will accuse it as "sailor art" and become infuriated. My question for you is this...do I get a discrete tattoo that they can't see (where)? or do I get one where I want it and risk that they may no longer pay for my college (that was their threat)? OR not get one at all?
