If the majority of Muslims are peaceful why is there little public out cry against violence from other Muslims

All the political correctness in the world cant hide the fact that americans never see a peace march or somthing along thoes lines speaking out aginst terrorism and violence. Not to say there isnt, but why havnt thoes muslims aginst terrorism had a larger part in all this. I hate to say it but it leavs the impression in my mind that just because most muslims would never resort to terrorism, they would look the other way if they knew a terrorist was about to strike.
