I've been on my high school golf team all 4 years of my high school career. I'm now a senior, and captain of our school's team. I wasn't always good, though. I started out at the bottom of the totem pole (trust me) and just climbed my way up. Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to get out on the course and play as many holes as you can. Sure, you can spend hours on the range and hit consistently, but everything changes when you get into different situations on the course. Go to your local country club and explain to them your status on the team, and most likely their facilities will be open for you to use at reduced or in my case, no charge. Those guys in the pro-shop want you to get better, and will enjoy the company of a younger golfer. Good luck man, just get out there and play until dark. Your love for the game will catch on, and you will begin to learn course-management, as well as how to keep your cool in tough situations. Have fun!

Why does someone hate me for no apparent reason?

I have 2 people who hate me for absolutely no reason. They never look me in the eye. One of them avoids me at all costs. The other one becomes really angry when we talk. 12 month old been on milk a month, got stomach virus, now cant keep milk down.?

ok, need to know if any mommies out there have had this issue... or any one in the medical field knows. My son had been having some cows milk for about a month then he got that lovely stomach virus that is going around. they said no milk (i still feed him when going down to sleep, 3 x a day). so when I reintroduced it he didn't really want it. I can get him to drink some after dinner but then he throws it up about 45 minutes later. I thought something was wrong with the milk but have tried 3 different jugs. he eats all regular food now and eats it just fine. I called the dr and they said he might be allergic to it and to try soy. I said he had been drinking it for over a month just fine! they said it might be a delayed reaction... so I really feel that is not the case, just doesn't sound right. i feel that he may just need like a week off of the milk and then try again, maybe his tummy is still week from being sick and needs to get stronger. any suggestions??

the car is automatic transmission and it a on has to be pushed to change gears. It also has that tricky overdrive on which is what I think is holding me up. There are wires on it and i believe thats whats stopping me but idk how to remove them. I unscrewed the screws in my handle myself but it wont come off cuz of the wires. And now im mad because i cant get it back to the way it was, anyway i want to put a new handle on or fix the old one so does anyone have specifics on how to deal with the overdrive on and wires. Is this in my head or should I be worried about a miscarriage?

I am 6 weeks 3 days pregnant. At 4 weeks 5 days I had a scan and they were able to see a sac in my uterus and my hcg levels were at 2000. Is this normal and good. The reason Im worried is because back in January I had an ectopic pregnancy and they removed my right tube and ovary. Does this put me at a higher risk for miscarriage??? I go back to the dr on June 1st for another scan, im terrified I wont see a heartbeat. I just purchased 2 Hummel Figurines at an estate sale. Are they authentic?

Why cant I do a snow plough stop now I've had my ice skates sharpened??

I've just recently had my ice skates sharpened for the first time since when I brought them. After I had them sharpened I went to my lesson and was quite shocked to find that I was unable to do a snowplough stop. Is this normal? I kinda expected to be able to skate better and with more control with sharp blades but to be honest I think I was better when they were more blunt? Will it get easier as they wear down? Unfortunately I have as much faith in New Testament scholars as I do in Creation Science, which is none. I have examined all the evidence presented by christians for a historical Jesus and all of them fail because none were alive during the supposed life of Jesus. Josephus is a historian that christians use, but Josephus wasn't born until 37 a.d and Jesus supposedly died no later than 33 a.d.. How could Josephus know anything about a real Jesus when Josephus wasn't even alive? The same for the rest of the christian sources, none were alive during the supposed life of Jesus. Those who were alive and living in the region wrote nothing about a Jesus. So if no one can provide an author who was actually an eyewitness to the actual Jesus, why shouldn't I think he is just a fictional character? Even the writers of the New Testament claim they were not eyewitnesses. Mark claims he was recording what Peter had told him, Matthew what Paul had told him, Paul only had a vision not the physical Jesus, Luke says he had only done research and John wrote way too late to even be alive at the time. Why did they use the Old Testament to write their stories, why does Matthew and Luke use the writings of Mark as one of their sources for their stories? The bible is not like a diary where they wrote daily what was happening. Like any work of fiction it was designed with a purpose. The christian community has many lies built in to protect itself and you have to know the right questions to ask or notice minuscule details that expose the deception. You can see many historical figures that mention Jesus being real and that looks convincing until you ask, when were they born and did they actually know a physical Jesus? As soon as you ask those questions, the list drops to zero and you begin to understand that just like today, they were merely repeating the stories they had heard. I can tell you all sorts of things about Jesus, but I can also tell you all sorts of things about Santa Clause. Just because a fictional character can seem real doesn't make them real.

All the political correctness in the world cant hide the fact that americans never see a peace march or somthing along thoes lines speaking out aginst terrorism and violence. Not to say there isnt, but why havnt thoes muslims aginst terrorism had a larger part in all this. I am curious, from a Mavericks' fans' perspective (or at least from somebody who has watched them a lot), why they lost in the first round of the playoffs. Was it Dirk? Was it Kidd? running around the block is not enough. She's bored and that's probably why she's behaving bad. My 8 month old gets like that if i can't get him out on his runs. I take him for 2 runs a day for at least 30 min. It's not all running but walks too or i take him to my parents farm and let him run free and when he gets home he is wore out and goes to bed.

Never rely on a tanning salon. They are dangerous to your health because many people suffer from skin cancer from being exposed to the sun or tanning bed unprotected. Helpppp ! my hair has looked/been damaged all my life?

You should get you hair trimmed regularly for the dry spots. That'll make your hair grow stronger with any blockage. Take it easy on the relaxers. You can also use moisturizers so that it won't dry up. Also, make sure your shampooing and conditioning your hair in a way that it won't get damaged....like wash it thoroughly and stuff. When drying, go naturally, you shouldn't blow dry that much or use heating products that often ( not saying that you shouldn't ever use it again, but just take it easy). When brushing, don't use it to hard, especially with the plastic ones since they lead to breakage and split ends. Also a healthy diet is needed to fix damaged hair. Drink milk, plenty of protein, vitamin E, and all that good stuff. Hope this helps.

STD BIG Problem!!!?

I went to the ER today because I was feeling like crap. When I went there the specific reason was because I have a sinus infection and I also told them that I had a little problem urinating. She looked at my and told me that it "looked like I had an STD" because of skin marks that are on the head of it. But I went to my regular doc and they gave me a physical and checked me for STD's about 3-4months ago and my doc nvr called me back so I thought everything was ok. I recently did something with my girl and now I am scared to death that I may have given her something. Ok, well, I've been dating my boyfriend, Craig, for a year now. He's 17, and I'm 16, and he's been through a lot... His father was a drunk and Craig got beaten daily. He deals with the memories and hurt everyday. He wears all black, has gone through tons of counseling, cut himself in the past, and at times he can lose his temper (NEVER to the point that he would hurt me. But he gets loud, and sometimes throws things. He's a bit intense. I'm the only one who can calm him down, though.) In a way, I'm almost scared of him... of the emotions that he feels everyday, because they are so intense. However, I'm completely in love with him at the same time. For a kid who was hated and blamed for everything by his own father, he has so much love in him, and he's sweet, and caring, and I'd trust him with my life. But yesterday, his father somehow got his number, and called him from prison, trying to be Mr. Caring Father after not speaking to him for years. Craig called me to come over. He was so furious, he was swearing and yelling. I talked quietly to him, and held him close, and told him that he had every right to be angry, but that throwing things and yelling wasn't going to change things. He was so furious, he was nearly gasping for air between sentences. I managed to calm him down though, and he fell apart, crying. He vented for about an hour to me, and he seemed alright then, but I know damn well how much he's hurting. All I want is to help him and be there for him, because I love him so much. However, I told my mom about his meltdown after his father called, and she doesn't want me to date him, because she thinks he comes with too much baggage and she's worried for my safety and my own emotions. I'm fine, though. The only way I'll get hurt more is if she makes me leave him, hurting alone. She won't listen to me though. I love him... a lot, and I can't stand to think about leaving him... And not just because I feel bad for him... I really love him. What do I do?! To convince my mom, and to help Craig?

Urine NOT changing color?

My urine is NOT changing color when I take multi vitamins. I know in the past it has which is normal, but it doesn't now. I take a Women's one a day, a VB12 sup, an iron sup, and a folic acid sup. Still, no urine change. Does that mean my body is craving all that and needs it (so it's not getting rid of it in the urine?)

How wrong is this? Please Help!! My son and my BF's son were both at our house during the summer!!?

Now both are used to being the only kids, they are 7 and 9! they ended up fighting all summer and it was ridiculous! for the most part we had to keep them apart! I am not sure what it was all about! Now, back in June we were fed up with all of the fighting and everything. They came in one evening and the 7 y/o was crying again.. We told them to fight, if they were gonna fight, then fight and get it over with so we wont have to deal with this problem again. so the 7y/o goes and hits the 9y/o in the arm, and he did nothing back, we ended up spliting them up again and not thinking anything of it, no probs since then. til today, nothing had been brought up. I get a phone call from my kids counselor at school saying they are pressing child abuse charges because my son told her what happend. and he exagerated it BIG TIME! He told her his nose was busted etc. He didnt even have a mark, nor was he hit in the face!! I tought that was the way you handled kids fighting! we did not touch them
